Regina was born and
raised in a town called Normal though her humor is anything
but..."I like it when people say I'm not normal.
I say, well yes I am and I've got the birth certificate
to prove it!" A favorite with her audience
is the Normal High School Cheer: "We're OK, you're
not OK, we're Normal...you're not!" Regina
claims her school mascot was a bell curve.
Drawing from her
"Normal" upbringing, Regina finds the humorous
truth in a variety of life situations. "I love
to tell a story and hear the laughter as it registers
with the audience; to see the wheels spinning and heads
nodding."
Regina's perspective
on what most might consider the mundane details of ordinary
life: family, frozen foods, religion, and home repair;
turns each one into a humorous connection with the audience.
Even the confusing, ever-changing world of corporate
health care becomes fuel for her comedic fire:
"My HMO recently
merged with the Oakland International Airport...at least
that's where they sent me when I needed an x-ray. I
was willing to go along with it but I needed a mammogram
and they sent me to the odd sized baggage department."
Regina's humor connects
with a wide range of audiences and has led to event performances
as diverse as Catholic Diocese Fundraisers, Teacher's
Workshops, Gay and Lesbian Film Festivals and Corporate
Retreats.
